Bolton Street Hotel, Dublin

iAcoustics worked with Brian Dunlop Architects on this six-storey over-basement 63-bedroom hotel, including bar and restaurant facilities on Dublin’s Bolton Street.

We provided guidance on all aspects of acoustic performance, including sound insulation between guestrooms, controlling noise from the restaurant/bar and plant noise. The key challenge was the level of street noise impacting rooms; we developed an appropriate glazing specification to ensure that guests could expect a restful night’s sleep without interference from external noise.
