Bord ná Mona Headquarters, Co Kildare

This project is located at Bord Na Móna headquarters in Newbridge; it involved refurbishing an existing factory building to provide modern and efficient offices. IAcoustics worked with architects on developing an acoustic strategy for this project. The existing space suffered from long reverberation times, making the open-plan area seem a little noisier than desirable.

We developed an approach which utilised suspended acoustic treatment in the ceiling, backed up by desktop modelling to estimate the room acoustic performance.

We also provided guidance on controlling M&E noise and on improving the acoustic separation between cellular offices.
