Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre

iAcoustics were contacted about an existing reverberation problem in the café area of the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre in Newgrange. We attended the site in order to carry out baseline reverberation time measurements.

Upon reviewing the results, a desktop acoustic model was developed for the space; various types and qualities of acoustic treatments were added to the model until the desired reverberation time was achieved.

We engaged in extensive discussions with the Client and the Design Team to ensure that all acoustic recommendations were in line with the required aesthetic goals. A successful outcome was achieved upon completion of the remedial works.
