SISK appointed iAcoustics to provide acoustic design services for this project in recreational/amenity areas and residential areas.

Due to the large amounts of noise/vibration-generating equipment used to serve the facility, noise mitigation was the primary concern from an acoustics perspective.

We prepared detailed noise propagation models based on manufacturers sound power levels to show the ambient noise levels at nearby noise-sensitive locations when the equipment was operational. IAcoustics recommended noise mitigation measures in areas where the equipment noise levels would have exceeded desirable levels. We carried out a full investigation upon the project’s completion to verify the design stage’s assumptions and demonstrate compliance to the design criterion.
