iAcoustics worked with SISK on Center Parcs, Co Longford. The forest resort includes 466 self-catering lodges and 30 apartments to accommodate up to 2,500 guests. It was vitally important that noise emissions from the plant which serves the facility did not adversely impact on nearby noise-sensitive locations.
iAcoustics carried out desktop noise propagation modelling. The results of this process enabled the design team to make informed decisions regarding the placement and treatment of noise-generating equipment. An acoustic site survey was undertaken upon completion of the project to verify that the noise levels complied with the project requirements.
