Ormond Quay Hotel, Dublin

The Ormond Quay Hotel is undergoing a €25m redevelopment.

The landmark building, which has been closed for more than 10 years, was opened in 1900 and featured “the Sirens” chapter in James Joyce’s Ulysses. iAcoustics are providing full acoustic consultancy on the project.

The primary objective is to ensure that the design of separating walls and floors achieves sufficient levels of sound privacy between rooms, and between corridors and rooms.
